ONE OF AFRICAN'S MUSIC TALENTS! NASTY C

Birth Name: Nsikayesizwe David Jr Ngcobo

Genre: Rap

Active Years: Since 2018

Author, composer, performer, Nasty C is a multifaceted artist. Born in Durban, South Africa, he was raised by his father when his mother died when he was only 11 months old. Since childhood, he has been immersed in music, a family affair. At age 9, it is his brother producer who initiates it. The machine is launched, he learns to compose and then begins to sing on his own compositions, which earned him to sign at Free World Music, an artist management box.

Thanks to this first foot in the music, he realizes one of his dreams by meeting the singer AKA who wants it for his first parts. Everything comes together, Nasty C releases several projects in 2013, 2014 and 2015. It is then a place in the South African rap landscape and especially a name with the singles "Way To Go" (feat Tumi and Youngsta) and the remix of his single "Juice Back" (Davido and Cassper Nyovest).

In 2015, he is the youngest artist to receive the South African Hip Hop Awards. He released his first album "Bad Hair" in September 2016: his single "Hell Naw" reached 4th place on the charts in South Africa. In December, he releases a deluxe version of the album: "Bad Hair Extensions", which includes the single "Allow" feat. French Montana. With this album, he is rewarded at the Metro FM Music Awards: New Best Artist, Best Male Album, Best Hip Hop Album and Title of the Year (with "Hell Naw"). He is also nominated for the BET Awards for Best International Act: Africa. In October 2017, Nasty C enjoyed worldwide visibility when invited by Major Lazer on the title "Particula", cumulating more than 35 million views on Youtube and more than 40 million streams on Spotify. He is more and more followed on social networks.

Nasty C is now signed at Capitol Music France and returns with a new album, "String And Bling". He won with two dynamic first singles trap: "Jungle" and "King" (feat A $ ap Ferg).
